A little Halloween at home: start with a free printable

A small Halloween afternoon can begin with paper, pencils and one activity everyone wants to try. Choose a free pack first, print a few pages and leave room for a snack, a break or a change of plan.

Start with the activity your child enjoys

For ages 4–8, try Cosy Halloween Colouring or the Little Pumpkin Party taster with a grown-up. The taster has colouring, a six-word search and an autumn hunt. For ages 7–10, the Halloween Puzzle Sampler offers a word search, maze and secret message, with answers for checking together.

Print a few pages, not every file

Each new pack comes in A4 and US Letter. Choose the PDF that matches your paper, use Actual size or 100%, and test one page. The two paper sizes contain the same activities. Keep answer sheets separate while solving and use pencils so children can try again.

Make a small party from simple games

If your family enjoys the taster, Little Pumpkin Party adds four different bingo boards, calling cards, matching pairs, charades and decorations. A grown-up can cut the cards before play. Choose two or three activities, let anyone pass a turn and hang decorations out of young children’s reach.

Give older children a little challenge

Halloween Puzzle Club has four scattered word searches, three mazes, codes, word scrambles, picture Sudoku and more. The first search goes across, down and diagonally down; the harder searches include all eight directions. Read the instructions on each page and offer a hint before turning to the answers.

Choose a full pack only if you want the extras

The free packs are useful on their own and need no account or checkout. Little Pumpkin Party includes its three free taster activities plus 21 more activity and craft pages. Halloween Puzzle Club includes its three sampler puzzles plus 13 more puzzles. The pumpkin picnic colouring scene also appears in the free colouring pack; paper sizes and repeated samples are not counted as extra activities.
